Wreaths Across America

Every December, the Mary Floyd Tallmadge Chapter, NSDAR, participates in Wreaths Across America by holding a wreath-laying ceremony at the All Wars Memorial in Bantam, Connecticut, in conjunction with local veteran's service organizations and the Oliver Wolcott Chapter of the SAR's color guard.  Our chapter joins more than 3,400 other locations across the country, including Arlington National Cemetery in Washington, D.C., to honor our nation's fallen service members. At our location, eight wreaths are placed, one for each branch of the military and one for those whose last known status was Prisoner of War/Missing in Action.

The event is held rain or shine and is open to the public.  We hope you'll join us for our next Wreaths Across America ceremony!
